Kozan Karakurt is founder and CEO of Radius Consulting. Kozan is bringing in a well diversified banking
experience gained in a top notch Global Financial Institution. Since May 2009 Kozan is based in North Cyprus
and doing private consultancy for local banks. In a short period of time he has managed to add many local
institutions in his client portfolio under several medium to large scale consulting projects.
Until February 2009 Kozan Karakurt was head of Strategic Planning of Citibank Turkey Cluster reporting to
the CEO of Turkey, Israel, Central Asia & Caucasia and responsible from Financial & Strategic Planning and
Business Development of the region. Mr. Karakurt has been appointed to this position in 2007. Prior to that
he has served as Chief of Staff to the Division Executive of Turkey, Israel, Central Asia & Caucasia for a
year. Between 2003 and 2005 he was head of the Treasury Product Control and Planning Analysis Function
of the Turkey/Israel Cluster of Citibank. He was given the responsibility to set up Treasury Product Control
function for both Turkey and Israel. Kozan Karakurt has also served as the Country Compliance and Control
Head of Citibank Turkey between 2000 and 2003 managing a team of high caliber professional auditors.
In late 1996 he has joined Citibank Turkey as Management Associate in Operations where he has then
served with different capacities in Internal Audit Department (as Department head from 1999). Prior to
joining Citibank Mr. Karakurt has served as Lecturer in the European University of Lefke of North Cyprus
where he has taught Management and Economics courses. Born in Lefkosa in June 1968, Mr. Karakurt holds
a BBA (High Hons.) and MBA degrees from the Eastern Mediterranean University North Cyprus and
University of Leicester UK.
In July 1996 he has ranked first in the graduating class of the Eastern Mediterranean University business
school and awarded with a postgraduate scholarship.

Dr. Güler Manisalı Darman was graduated from The Middle East Technical University / Faculty of Business /
Department of Business Administration of in 1979. She took her master degree in the Faculty of Political
sciences / Department of Business Administration, whereas she took her doctorate in the Baskent
University/Department of Accounting-Finance. Between the years of 1980-1988, she worked as the
Executive Director of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) Turkish National Committee the
headquarter of which is based in Paris, and active under TOBB umbrella in Turkey. In 1988 she switched to
private sector, and she has worked as CFO and CEO of eminent groups until the earlier 2005.
She is currently the Vice Chair of the ICC Financial Services and Insurance Commission. Moreover, she is the
active member of European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), which consists of the European business
interests and academicians, and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey. In 2008, she was elected
as the Liaison Officer of American European Community Association (AECA), headquarter in Brussels, a
dynamic TransAtlantic alliance that provides a potent forum for discussion of key global business, economic
and political affairs founded by in 1980 by Sir David Nicholson, member of the European Parliament.
Dr. Güler Manisalı Darman is also one of the founders of Junior Chamber International Turkey, which is based
in the United States. Besides, she has the title as the Senator. She was the opening key note speaker of the

In 2004, her book entitled “Corporate Governance Worldwide” was published by the ICC. The book is sold in
